Principal Investigator

Prof. Marco Scigliuzzo
Chair in Development of Quantum Technologies | Institut Quantique & Faculté de génie, Université de Sherbrooke

Marco's research focuses on superconducting quantum systems, with an emphasis on circuit quantum electrodynamics, quantum acoustics, high-coherence superconducting devices, and circuit optomechanics. His work has contributed to the quantum control of photonic and phononic degrees of freedom, tunable nonlinear quantum acoustics, high-coherence device engineering, and the observation of collective quantum motion in macroscopic mechanical resonator arrays.

Before joining the University of Sherbrooke, Marco completed a PhD in quantum optics at Chalmers University of Technology with Per Delsing and carried out postdoctoral research at EPFL, working across superconducting circuits, quantum acoustics, high-kinetic-inductance materials, and quantum-limited microwave measurement.

Selected Collaborators

SQS Lab is built around an international collaborative network spanning superconducting circuits, waveguide QED, theory, quantum acoustics, and circuit optomechanics.

We are actively recruiting at all levels — see the Join Us page for current positions.
